Sagorika commenced practise in 2014 after completing a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) at Monash University.  Since that time, she has worked in private practice, specialising in all aspects of employment law and industrial relations disputes.

Prior to moving to Adelaide, Sagorika worked in a number of specialist employment law firms in Victoria including McDonald Murholme and Hentys Lawyers.  In 2020, Sagorika worked as an assistant to Mr Mark Irving QC.

From 2018-2020, Sagorika lived in England where she undertook the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme to become a Solicitor of England and Wales.  During that period, Sagorika continued to practice employment law in a tier one firm where she gained invaluable insight and experience in a parallel legal system.

Since admission, Sagorika has had the benefit of representing both employee and employer clients across various sectors and she has regularly appeared in the Fair Work Commission, Federal Circuit Court and Federal Court.

Sagorika also has extensive experience volunteering in community legal services including AED Legal and Monash Springvale Legal Centre in Victoria.

Sagorika is passionate about human rights, speaks three languages, and has been published in Oxford Public International Law (Online Journal) and Rapporteur.

When not practising law, Sagorika is an avid rock climber and snowboarder.
